The mission of the Development Team is to develop all solutions needed in the MEA wherever neither standard applications nor reports are available, in accordance with the Group standard and the existing local structures & regulations in all the MEA Territories.
The main activities of the IT Analyst developer are to analyse, develop, support, maintain, and propose solutions for business/support functions and to prepare technical specifications accordingly.
Manage projects and handling and, or managing long and short term projects for the full development lifecycle following the methodology provided by the regional IT governance team as well as the assistance in the preparation of user and systems test plans.
Provide the assistance, enhancement, maintenance and training related to the projects, further to incidents or on demand requests as well as to implement the recommendations of Audit, inspections and IT security.
. To analyse business processes and activities and propose solutions and IT levers to enhance the quality of work and reduce pain points and issues facing the users
. To develop, and maintain solutions or business reports that meet the internal requirements of the departments and the external specifications provided by different parties i.e. regulators, vendors, Head office, etc.
. To provide, develop, automate, and maintain Business reports and dashboards for different departments
. To provide technical documentations and systems design for all developed systems making it easy for the new comers to understand the system
. To develop scripts that serve multiple purposes such as supporting some applications flows, i.e file transfer and control, minimize any manual intervention from the user or production team, automate or monitor processes
. To implement ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Extraction of data from one or multiple sources, transform (could cover reconciliation as well) and load the data into one unified datacentre
. To manage full life cycle projects specially those pertaining to regulatories’ reporting
. To develop and maintain all site specific jobs in infocenter, DWH and A2

Mandatory Requirements:

. Application development experience (Minimum 3 years)
. Strong knowledge on at least one of the following programming languages; Java, C#, VB
. Good knowledge on one of BI tools preferably Business Objects
. Good knowledge on Oracle reports development, SQL and PL/SQL
. Good knowledge on Microsoft Office applications i.e power point, and project management
. Good written and verbal communication skills & interpersonal skills
. Demonstrate evidence of analysing, documenting, writing down technical specifications and interacting with end users
. Knowledge on a Core Banking Applications
. Project Management experience
. Good knowledge of Unix and Windows operating system
